Showing for one night only at the Eden Cinemas is Giuseppe Verdi’s magnificent opera, Les Vêpres Siciliennes. Live and direct from London’s Royal Opera House on the 4th November at 18:45, this spectacular production will be shown for the very first time in an imaginative new staging by Stefan Herheim.  Conducted by Antonio Pappano, the opera features a stellar cast; including Bryan Hymel, Marina Polavskaya, Erwin Schrott and Michael Volle. Also making his International Royal Opera House debut is Malta’s very own tenor, Nico Darmanin, in the role of Daniéli. With a promising and exciting career ahead, Nico first started his training with soprano Gillian Zammit, after which he then moved to London to study at the Royal College of Music.

Just one of the many incredible productions from the Royal Opera House, Les Vêpres Siciliennes is set to impassioned and dramatic music, rich in showpiece arias and ensembles, as well as striking choruses. Through this operatic work, Herheim takes us over the threshold from the reality of the opera house into the dreamlike stories of the operas they present.

Verdi’s rich and dramatic musical score is brought to life with the enhanced sound provided by Eden Cinemas. Giving the audience that authentic feel of the Royal Opera House, the dimmed theatre lighting continues to transform the evening into an unbelievable experience. Being shown on a large screen, each moment is beautifully captured and further intensified. Guaranteeing a marvellous evening as well as a breathtaking performance, audiences pay just a fraction of that charged overseas for theatre tickets.

Tickets for Les Vêpres Siciliennes are being sold at €23 for adults and €10 for individuals under the age of 16. Making the evening a night to remember, the audience is offered a complimentary glass of wine, complimentary parking and a 25% discount at Waterbiscuit upon presentation of their ticket.
