This Fishfest event has become very popular among the public and it has been carved in stone as part of the maltese traditions. Fresh fish would be for sale while a colourful cultural event where local popular singers and artists will be participating along the seaside.
Joe known as id-Dulli , his wife Veronica Farrugia and Joe Demicoli will be amusing the audience while local artists would be doing crafts which can be bought from the stalls. Delicatessen, indoor plants will be sold while the restaurants would be serving special menus to mark this annual event. A kids corner will be available, thus enhancing the extravagant evening on the main promenade.
Due to this event, the residential street along the promenade will be closed for the traffic, thus providing more space for the public to enjoy a stroll along the promenade, where tables and chairs would be laid as to enjoy a fine dinner under the twinkling stars.
