The much awaited visit to Malta by the Neapolitan singer of international fame Massino Ranieri is just round the corner.

His great enthusiasm for his appointment with the Maltese public can be judged by his constant contact with the organisers of this show, CMC Promotions. Massimo Ranieri is pledging a formidable concert  of international standard which will satisfy his audience.

Presently, Massimo Ranieri is touring various Italian cities. Before the Malta concert, he will be performing in Santa Croce Sull'Arno. Soon after the Malta visit, Massimo Ranieri will be engaged in two other important concerts. One at Verona on June 17, and the following day at Udine.

CMC Promotions assure a fantastic concert during which Massimo Ranieri will perform "live" much of the songs he composed and sang during his career which gained him Italian and international fame.

CMC Promotions proudly announces another great concert which could easily be labelled as one of the biggest summer events to be held in Malta. The Australia soft rock group Air Supply will be performing live on stage, at the Malta Fairs and Conventions Centre, Ta' Qali.

This concert will truly be a once in a life time opportunity, since Malta is just one of two countries in Europe where Air Supply will gather the crowds.

British born singer and guitarist Graham Russell and lead vocalist Russell Hitchcock met on 12th May,1975, during the first day of rehearsal of "Jesus Christ Superstar" in Sydney, Australia. They become interested friends for their common love for The Beatles and singing. That was how it all started.

At first they performed in bars, restaurants and entertainment places. Then they ventured in Australia and the international scene. In 1980 "Lost in Love" became the fastest selling single in the world. The second single was "All Out Of Love" and went up in the charts even quicker.

The albums "Lost in Love", "The One That You Love", "Now and Forever" and "The Greatest Hits" sold in excess of 20 million copies.

Sensational duo Air Supply are celebrating 40 years of their music, bringing their repertoire to Malta, showcasing their portfolio

of massive hits, such as ‘Just as I am', ‘Two Less Lonely People In The World’, ‘Even The Nights Are Better', ‘Lonely Is The Night’, ‘Good Bye’, ‘Making Love Out Of Nothing At All’ and so much more during a remarkable concert by Graham Russell and Russell Hitchcock together with their band who together form Air Supply.

Don’t miss this opportunity to be part of something big this summer!! Tickets available by calling on (00356) 99821250. Visit www.cmcpromotionsmalta.com for more info!

The Australia soft rock group Air Supply will be performing live on stage, at the Malta Fairs and Conventions Centre, Ta' Qali  on the 28th August, 2015 as part of a worldwide tour to mark their 40th anniversary.

Karmen Azzopardi back on stage - Faith Hope u Charity

After the SELL OUT success of last year’s production of KAPPILLAN TA’ MALTA, Stagun Teatru Malti returns to the MALTA ARTS FESTIVAL at  Fort St. ELMO with another new original play in Maltese by Immanuel Mifsud and directed by Josette Ciappara. Maestro Dominic Galea has written an original score and will also be playing live at the Fort.

“The success of Kappillan revealed there is a market for Maltese nostalgia. That is why we opted to bring it back in this years outdoor production for the Malta Arts Festival” says producer Mario Philip Azzopardi.  “We’ve learned a lot regarding logistics and working outside at Fort St Elmo. This time around, all actors will have hidden microphones to boost dialogue guarantying perfect sound, whatever the wind conditions are.”

Perhaps the biggest coup for this lavish production is the return to the Maltese stage, after an absence of almost ten years,  of Karmen Azzopardi. “I am so glad i was offered. I was starting to doubt whether I’d ever get back on stage. The very first day i attend rehearsals I was given such a wonderful welcome from my colleagues. Thanks to the producers and my wonderful director Josette Ciappara, I went through those first moments of doubt with much trepidation but once we started work, it all came back. It’s exhilerating, and I am enjoying myself tremendously.  This has given me a new lease on life.”

FAITH HOPE U CHARITY is a war story. Not so much about the three legendary Gloucester planes which formed the entire Maltese airforce against the might of the Italian Aereonautica, but more    about three young wonderful people caught in the terrible tragedy of the war.

William Timber Woods, who was the pilot (played by Carlos Farrugia) who flew Charity downs an Italian Pilot (Davide Tucci) who lands in a garden of a villa owned by Contessa Fiorini Sacco  (played by Monica Attard). Her grand daughter, Maria (Sarah Camilleri) takes care of the wounded Italian who is later visited in hospital by Timber Woods.  Both men are drawn to Maria and the relationships that ensue are the subject of this wonderful, nostalgic bitter sweet play.

“It is so wonderful to return to this kind of theatrical entertainment” comments Karmen Azzopardi. In a world full of uncertainties, dubious entertainment and violent times, it is great to have the opportunity to return to a wonderful old fashioned story, penned by one of our best writers, Immanuel Mifsud. It is a story about love, respect, duty and honour. It is going to be a great summer evening out, without having to worry about controversy, shock and  confusing messages. Finally. A love storty. How original!!!

This is the tenth original production by Stagun Teatru Malti. Ten world premiers in seven years!

FAITH HOPE u CHARITY will have its premier on July 22nd and will run for a total of 8 outdoor performances, (22nd, 24th 25th 26th. 29th 31st July and 1st and 2nd August)  Booking is open at the Manoel Theatre.

Air Supply Concert - another initiative by CMC Promotions in aid of Caritas Malta

Last May, CMC Promotions, was instrumental in appealing to all those present for the Marco Masini concert at the Mediterranean Conference Centre, in Valletta, to give a donation by means of an SMS in aid to Caritas Malta. This initiative was undertaken during a fund raising marathon transmission on Malta's national television station.

CMC Promotions is proud to announce that it has embarked on another fund raising initiative, this time on the occasion of concert by the Australian duo of international fame AIR SUPPLY at the MFCC, Ta' Qali, on August 28.

CMC Promotions has decided to offer free of charge parking on the day of the concert, but a donation in aid of Caritas Malta would be much appreciated. Irrespective of the amount of money donated, this would be considered of great importance to Caritas Malta, an organisation synonymous with the rehabilitation of drug abusers and also for other services provided free of charge to our Nation.

On the day of Air Supply's concert, Caritas Malta volunteers - wearing an identification tag or T-shirt - will be at the car park collecting the donations.

CMC Promotions appeals for generosity to all those using the car park, stressing that their donation is an invaluable contribution to the coffers of an organisation which is contributing immensely to the well being of the society.

CMC Promotions clearly wants to emphasize its total commitment against drugs and alcohol abuse during its activities. The take home message, that while the general public is being entertained, they must also remember those vulnerable ones who need the help of Caritas Malta all year round.

Caritas Malta needs strong financial support to cover its mission.

For more information about CMC Promotions kindly visit the website cmcpromotionsmalta.com or phone  99821250.
